Reports to Director, Brand Creative Operations



This position is responsible for an efficient and effective workflow process within the Brand Creative Operations department, specifically for social content execution and distribution.


This individual is integral in maintaining team intercommunication and project timelines. Helping to manage creative requests from end-to-end; ensuring all workflows run efficiently; communicating and managing expectations; keeping everyone on task, projects on deadline, and handling the day-to-day operational logistics for timely delivery of assets.


Individual must be organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic about social media and the Madewell Brand. A Self-starter with excellent judgement and communication skills, and a strong working knowledge of social media creative development and assets for marketing use, influencer marketing and digital media.

We want you to…

  • Support Operations and Brand Creative across various marketing projects and campaigns, working with internal cross-functional team members and external partners, to deliver projects successfully, and efficiently across social.
  • Receive and review all incoming (ongoing and new) Madewell Social Media Initiatives for execution; act as the liaison between creative and marketing teams, collaborating with key stakeholders to obtain current information on projects, and manage expectations.
  • Establish and communicate responsibilities - including (but not limited to) - Creative Briefs, Copy Needs, Design Assets, Delivery Specs, Shoot Preparation, etc., with cross-functional teams for each project and creative requests.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, agendas, check-ins, recaps, and next steps, managing the development and execution of project requirements and deadlines.
  • Responsible for documentation, prioritization, tracking, and monitoring of project needs and changes within the steps of the creative process, ensuring adherence to project defined guidelines, and schedules.
  • Work with Director of Operations to proactively assess and create processes and efficiencies for Madewell’s rapidly growing social needs, facilitating better cross-team collaboration and project outcomes.
  • Manage team project loads and identify hot projects and upcoming deliverables. Alert Creative team to changes in marketing objectives, new information, asset delivery, etc.; problem-solve execution obstacles, reassessing and adjusting schedules as needed.
  • Traffic assets and deliverables across multiple departments and internal stakeholders, providing updates and securing approvals.

  • Are extremely detailed oriented with clear and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently when required while at the same time operate efficiently in a team dynamic
  • Have strong time management skills with experience balancing a high volume of projects and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office/365 Software (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.), Mac OS, as well as project and task management tools like Airtable, JIRA, Asana, etc. Adobe Suite experience is a plus
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in a cross-functional project management or creative marketing communications environment
  • Have an awareness and understanding of social media marketing assets and creative deliverables
  • Are passionate about collaboration and fostering a solution-oriented cross-functional environment
